You just watched a video on the new face of the $20 bill. If you had to choose someone to have their face on the $20 bill who would it be and explain why?
I believe that Harriet Tubman is as good a person as any to be on the $20 bill. She was a historical figure and did a lot of good work towards the freeing of slaves, and equal rights for minorities and women. It will be nice to see her immortalized in such a way.
First sentence is a fragment, and not capitalized, also wrong form of 'there'. If I had a $20 bill for every sentence you needed to get full credit, I'd have 4 Tubmans.
I think a legendary sports player should get to be on the $20 bill. You never see any sports athletes on a dollar bill so i think they should change it up and put someone like that on the bill. They don't have to be that important.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr because he inspired a lot of people during his days. His freedom marches and Peaceful protest and powerful speeches is what lead the freedom of slavery.
I personally don't have a person I would want on the $20 bill. I never really thought about it and I don't care to, its not a huge deal who's on it in my opinion.
I like that they are putting Martin Luther King on a bill because that is who I had in mind because he is a big part of history for all Americans, he did a lot to get black and whites to come together.
If I had to choose someone to have their face on the $20, I would probably say Martin Luther King Jr. The reason for that is because he made a huge impact on all of our lives awhile ago which will have an impact on our lives forever. Also he was a wonderful leader so I believe he should have his face on a $20.
I don't think their should be any faces on the $20 bill. I don't think it should be a competition of who is "worthy" enough to be shown on american truancy. We have hundreds and hundreds of honorable historical figures and people that have done amazing things that have shaped our country today. What makes one person more deserving to be the face of American truancy than the next? I think they should eliminate the faces on truancy.
If I could choose anyone one to be on the 20$ bill I would say it has to be some one brave, encouraging, awesome and some one you can always depend on. It doesn't have to be someone famous or anything but this person deserves to be on the 20$ bill. I think that if this person was on it, it would make America happy and want to always have a twenty in their pocket. Everyone would be happy with Sergio Gonzalez on the 20$.
I would love to see a female for once with their face on my money. Whom ever came up with this idea is a genius. For me personally I think it's a great idea cause she made history as well as E. Roosevelt, and MLK Jr. . But I think MLK should get that spot because he inspired thousands of people and still counting. He was the one who brought peace to the world and etc.... MLk deserves that spot.
I don't think that they should change the face of the $20 bill. It has been the same face for a long time, why change it now. It should remain the same for as long as the $20 bill exists. Changing the face makes it different and new. Changing something into something new can great a series of problems. Why create chaos when keeping it the same will be much easier.
I believe Harriet Tubman deserves to be on the $20 bill. Not only is she an African American, she is a woman. Our currency has always been very male and very white. I think it is a great time for change. Harriet Tubman is an important African American woman who ferried thousands of slaves to freedom.
i think that they should liken put a famous basketball player on a bill or something because i would really like to see a famous athlete on something for once.
