Wearable technology, once the stuff of old spy movies, is rapidly moving into the 21st century. Today, consumers can buy wristbands that count steps and track sleep, athletic shoes that monitor fitness, watches that double as phones, and smart glasses that function as a computer or GPS. Imagine that you have invented an exciting new item of wearable technology. Write a paragraph in which you describe this item, explain what it does, and convince readers to buy it.

ReplyDeleteI imagined a kind of GPS device that you can wear on your wrist. It would almost be like Siri, except it would be more for directions than anything else. For example, if you tell it that you have a taste for Chinese food, it would give you directions to the closest Chinese restaurant. I believe that people would like it if they saw it, and would probably buy it.

Deletei would try to make some type of hat that when you put it on it tells you how to do your homework in your head.like it goes step by step and helps you through it. Im sure kids would buy it to get they're homework done.
ReplyDeleteI imagined some earbuds that didn't have a cord with it and was wireless and it had the best sound known today when listening to music. All you would have to do is stick this little bud in your ear and play your music off of it. Also the bud had high quality sound like never before seen. I know people would buy it because music is everything it helps you escape to your own place.

ReplyDeleteThere is not much technology in today's society that hasn't already been invented, but if i had to create something it would have to be Bluetooth earbuds. The cords are irritating and always get tangles, so to eliminate that problem i would just make Bluetooth earbuds for better convenience.

ReplyDeleteA wearable technology that I came up with was a ring. It sounds crazy but just like the apple watches and glasses we have never heard of those not that long ago. The ring would have a little button on the side. When you push that button you set your hand on a surface and a map, a picture, time, weather, would pup up on the surface. Similar to a Promethean board just a lot smaller and very easily done by a push of a button.

DeleteI would make a watch to where it can do anything. I would have it to where you can turn it into like a mini computer and literately do anything in the world including it having the power to teleport u any where u want. this might sound stupid but hey i could not think of ANY thing so.

ReplyDeleteI would try to create a wearable watch that turns on your car, and unlocks the doors when you get within 5 ft reachable of it . I would recommend this watch to people(mother's) who has to much in there hands to pull out a bundle of keys to unlock the doors.
ReplyDeleteI would make a technology shirt. It would be like your phone on your shirt and its installed and connected to it. I would make sure it had really loud speakers, but you could turn it down to whatever you want. I just really like the idea of a shirt but your Iphone is connected to it. Then i start to really think about it and it would probably be hard to use when your wearing the shirt. I just think it would be something cool and interesting to invent.
ReplyDeleteI imagine inventing a watch that can notify things like your sleep level. You would get a notification if your sleeping level is low. It would notify other things such as eating, drink, and activity levels. You can check and record your records through any time period. The notifications are also sent to your phone after you have connected it.
ReplyDeleteI would create a bracelet that can alert you of high cholesterol and high sugar.It would mostly be for diabetics but, it could also be used for people trying to stay healthy.
ReplyDeleteI would create a money transaction system to where your money is protected and secured from money snatchers. This would work but put a pass code on the persons account without the money snatchers know and the system will have a very powerful firewall protecting all of the person's money transactions in their accounts.
